As the ingestion pipelines detailed in the previous entry (PubCrawl) reached maturity, the primary constraint on this research project shifted from network bandwidth to compute and storage I/O.
Finding my path in the PhD journey. While the exact research direction is still fuzzy, I am tackling the immediate technical hurdles of large-scale data acquisition.
After gathering some experience in both corporation and start-up, I am back to academia to get my hands on cutting edge research on Science of Science, ML, NLP and AI.
